Ikorodu Showcases Cultural Heritage As Annual Oga Day Carnival Kicks – Off
It was a long but exciting and engaging procession as the Chairman, Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, led traditional groups, clubs, political groups, residents of Ikorodu and tourists in procession round major streets of Ikorodu.
The procession called, ‘Woro’, in the local parlance is usually held to usher in the annual Ikorodu – Oga Day Carnival which is a week – long.
The crowd followed by different masquerades, danced and created awareness for the commencement of the Lagos State Government’s recognized festival.
