The inauguration took place on May 16 Sunday 2021, it was a great event. On this day the last executive for the incoming exco was conducted also elected. The outgoing chairman Otunba Ganiu Olusegun Abiru gave his speech with much encouragement to the incoming exco, he made clear that whoever is volunteering to give his full works to community development must have a patient heart and be had to work to achieve beyond what they have achieved, he made clear that it’s not an easy tax but with Gods help and great teamwork the sky is just the beginning to what can and will be achieved.
He stated all they have been able to achieve in the past two terms spent in the office, they really did achieve a lot that he couldn’t finish the ready but to sum it up. So of which was the rebranding of the Ikodass system and manner of operation from the office to their appearance, the project of the Civic Center has started and its built to lintel level, last ikorodu oga day due to the pandemic they commission boreholes for some primary and secondary schools with a generator which was a great achievement.
At the inauguration the past exco team was awarded accordingly, they really did a great job and a lot of the ikorodu community really applaud their developments. During the inauguration 3 different people came out to give their testimony on how much ikodass had affected their lives and their community, they congratulated the incoming excos and pray that greater works and achievements are expected of them.
