The ikodass indoor games youth championship began today Tuesday 7th, 2021 at the Rhoda youth training center. it started with chess and scrabble, playing 5 rounds each the highest number of winning takes the champ
The Ikodass Indoor Games Youth Championship which was held at Rhoda Youth Training Center was a great success as the first day games turned out great with champions of the both chess and scrabble, For the chess game female 1st Position Sunday chinozo Mary, 2nd Place Ogbona Confidence and the 3rd place and For the Male 1st Position Afolabi Emmanuel, 2nd Position Victor Nwakwo and 3rd Position Jamiu Ninilowo. The prices and medals will be given on Thursday 9th September 2021 the Grand finally. It promises to be a great time.
The ikodas chairman thanked the parent a lot for bringing out their children to confront their fears, He congratulated the participants Well-done and made it known to them that they are all champions either you win or lose at the competition, they should go and train very well as the 2nd Edition comes up in December. He promises to take many of those who exhibit their talents in the games to a better place and greater competition outside Ikorodu.
He said the idea is to bring out the talents in the Ikorodu youth, initiating the idea of raising the Ikorodu children from the grassroots and also, they are better ways to making life a better place, Than living an unworthy life like drugs abuse, Occultisms, and racism. This is to let the Ikorodu Youth know they have what it takes to become the world champion if they can only put their best to it.
